The SBDC (Small Business Development Center) at UW Madison gave me the opportunity to offer my voice workshop as part of their offering of classes. The group I worked with was great and very diverse. Usually I only have an hour or hour and a half to present, but this class was three and a half hours which gave me lots of time to work on the vocal exercises with each individual. Every one of the attendees was willing to try something new and was brave enough to try each vocal exercise in front of the group.
I hope I was able to give them a new awareness of how their voice works and how to make it more powerful and more nuanced.
